🚀 Overview

Collaboration is at the heart of IXL Core. Inviting your team allows everyone to work together on projects, track tasks, manage finances, and stay aligned under one system.

Only Administrators and users with user management permissions can invite new members to the organization.


🔧 Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Access the User Management Section

  1. Log in to your IXL Core account: https://app.ixlcore.com.

  2. From the top navigation bar, click Settings ⚙️.

  3. In the left-hand menu, select Users.

  4. Click “Invite User” or “Add New User” (depending on your system version).


Step 2: Fill in User Details

In the invitation form, complete the following fields:

  • Full Name – The team member’s complete name.

  • Email Address – Where the invite will be sent.

  • Phone Number (optional) – Useful for internal communication or HR purposes.

  • Assigned Role – Choose from available roles (Administrator, Manager, Employee, etc.).

  • Department – Select the relevant team or unit (optional).

💡 Tip: Ensure you assign the correct role before sending the invitation to prevent over- or under-access.


Step 3: Send Invitation

  1. Click Send Invite.

  2. The team member will receive an email with a secure invitation link.

  3. Once they click the link, they’ll be prompted to set a password and activate their account.

💌 The invite link expires after 24 hours for security reasons. You can resend it anytime if needed.


Step 4: Monitor User Status

In the Users List, you can view the status of each invitation:

  • 🟢 Active – The user has accepted and logged in.

  • 🕒 Pending – The invite was sent but not yet accepted.

  • 🔴 Suspended – The account is deactivated temporarily.

💡 Tip: Hover over the status icon to see the exact date the invitation was sent or accepted.


Step 5: Edit or Remove Users (Optional)

You can always update user details or revoke access:

  1. Go to Settings → Users.

  2. Click on the user’s name.

  3. To edit, update the fields and click Save Changes.

  4. To remove access, select Deactivate or Delete User.

⚠️ Deactivated users cannot log in but their activity history is retained for record-keeping.

  • Invite users immediately after setting up Roles & Permissions.

  • Periodically audit your user list to ensure only active team members retain access.

  • Always assign the least required permissions to maintain data security.
